Job Overview

RCIS provides insurance and superior services through leading agents to protect America’s farmers and ranchers. As a major crop insurance provider since 1980, we operate in all 50 states with a network of about 4,000 licensed agents.

Position Details

We are seeking a Field Service Representative to manage a large book of business in Michigan. The role involves approximately 50% windshield time. It is a remote position with a company car provided. Candidates must reside in the territory or nearby regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and grow existing accounts, delivering profitable growth.
2. Develop knowledge of agents' business models and create strategic business plans.
3. Lead holistic agent and customer value propositions.
4. Retain business and increase market share by enhancing customer experience.
5. Educate agents on RCIS products and marketing strategies.
6. Identify opportunities for new or improved products/services.
7. Lead and coordinate agent training sessions.
8. Address processing and servicing issues, collaborating with departments for solutions.
9. Ensure regulatory compliance in business processing.
10. Assist in developing SOPs and provide subject matter expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of experience in crop insurance, sales, or related market-facing roles.
• OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with Associates Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
• OR High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience in insurance sales or market-facing roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in crop insurance.
• Effective sales strategy execution.
• Market and distribution experience in insurance.
• Strong understanding of insurance from a market and underwriting perspective.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information
