Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado is hiring for a cardiovascular specialist to maintain and operate interventional equipment, document care, and support a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate records, and responsiveness to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular anatomy.
• Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, hospital staff and physicians.
• Experience with documentation and medical records.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.
• Produces accurate medical records for each patient based on the procedure and condition.
• Trains and supervises new personnel, providing orientation and education.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and safety regulations.
• Maintains accurate and secure medical records and documentation.
• Demonstrates leadership within the cardiovascular team.
• Responds to scheduled emergency calls and medical emergencies.
• Performs diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Verifies orders, communicates with physicians, and implements care.
• Administers and evaluates treatments and medications per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Responds appropriately in clinical emergencies and works within scope.
