Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO, is seeking a cardiovascular professional to maintain and operate equipment for procedures, ensure proper setup and sterile technique, and produce accurate medical records for each patient based on intervention complexity. You will train staff, participate in quality improvements, and uphold safety standards within a dynamic cardiovascular team.

The role requires knowledge of ECG, anatomy, hemodynamics, and imaging procedures, with current CPR and appropriate

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ECG training and arrhythmia interpretation (Required)
• Knowledge of Cardiovascular anatomy (Required)
• Knowledge of vascular anatomy (Required)
• Knowledge of Hemodynamic Monitoring (Required)
• Ability to communicate with patients, families and staff (Required)
• Knowledge of health care concepts (Required)
• Ability to monitor BP, ECG and pulse oximetry (Required)
• Reading/writing English (Required)
• Preparing and positioning patients (Required)
• Administering contrast media and medications (Required)
• Observing patient during procedures (Required)
• Radiation safety procedures (Required)
• Ability to perform complex imaging procedures (Required)
• Ensuring regulatory compliance (Required)
• Knowledge of electrophysiology (Preferred)
• Knowledge of interventional radiology (Preferred)
• Knowledge of peripheral diagnostic/interventional procedures (Preferred)
• Knowledge of interventional cardiology procedures (Preferred)
• Basic EKG interpretation (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.
• Produces accurate and timely medical records.
• Trains and supervises new personnel.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and safety.
• Maintains accurate medical records and documentation.
• Demonstrates leadership within the cardiovascular team.
• Takes scheduled emergency calls and responds promptly.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Verifies orders and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Administers treatments and medications per policy.
• Responds to clinical emergencies within scope of practice.
