AdventHealth in Castle Rock, Colorado, is hiring a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist for a full-time daytime schedule. You will support physicians in diagnostic/interventional cardiovascular procedures and manage patient records with a focus on safety and quality care.

Requirements include BLS and ACLS; RCIS/RCES/RRT/CSA are preferred. The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and adherence to CQI practices in a faith-based healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience preferred.
• Experience with invasive cardiovascular technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and corrects recording instrument malfunctions or unusual patient problems that interfere with recordings.
• Independently prioritizes clinical and administrative work and identifies process improvements.
• Processes patient and department records, ensuring documentation of performed tests in accordance with hospital standards.
• Assists physicians in cardiovascular procedures including diagnostic/interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, IABP operation, and electrophysiology studies.
• Evaluates and documents patient status, responds appropriately, and intervenes to ensure optimal outcomes.
