EGA Associates, LLC is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) to support cardiac catheterization and EP lab procedures in DC. The role involves scrubbing, patient prep, and direct procedural support under physician supervision.

Ideal candidates hold RCIS certification and have hands-on experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ECG/defibrillator systems, and fluoroscopy. On-site role with focus on patient safety and efficient case flow.

Qualifikationen

• Must have RCIS certification by CCI.
• Experience in cardiac catheterization and/or EP labs.
• Ability to scrub in and support cath procedures including PCI, stents, EP studies.
• Experience prepping patients for sterile procedures (prep and draping).
• Proficient in managing hemodynamic monitoring, ECG/defibrillator systems, fluoroscopy, data storage.
• Circulate and monitor cases, assist with infection control, radiation safety, supply management and scheduling.

Aufgaben

• Scrub in and provide direct support to cardiac catheterization procedures (e.g., angiography, PCI, stenting).
• Prepare patients for sterile procedures, including prepping and draping.
• Manage hemodynamic monitoring systems and fluoroscopic equipment.
• Circulate and monitor cases; document data in Mac Lab.
• Assist with infection control, radiation safety, and supply management.
• Provide patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
