Job summary

Trinity Health in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Part-time Registered Cardiac Invasive Tech (RCIS) for rotating/on-call coverage in the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures and support Cardiologists with radiographic imaging and patient monitoring.

The candidate must hold an RCIS designation, be Maryland-registered, and have BLS certification. One year of cath lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have RCIS designation by CCI or equivalent
• Registered in Maryland
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum one year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized diagnostic/therapeutic cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab as requested by physician orders.
• Assists Cardiologists and other physicians as required.
• Maintains safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure and uses shielding materials and sterile techniques.
