Job summary

Trinity Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Registered Cardiac Invasive Tech (RCIS) to perform specialized diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The role requires knowledge of radiographic, cardiac and peripheral vascular anatomy, with hands-on use of advanced imaging equipment and catheters.

The ideal candidate will hold an RCIS designation, be licensed in Maryland, and have BLS certification, with preferred experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.

Qualifications

• RCIS designation by a recognized accrediting body (CCI)
• Maryland state licensure as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized diagnostic/therapeutic cardiac procedures per protocol
• Assists Cardiologists and other physicians as needed
• Maintains safety and radiation protection standards for patients and staff
• Operates radiographic, monitoring and catheterization equipment in cath lab
