Job summary

VHC Health is seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) to support the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab. The role involves assisting physicians during diagnostic catheterizations, PCI procedures, pacemaker/ICD implantations, ablations, EP studies, and tilt testing.

You will provide comprehensive patient care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited health program or equivalent experience preferred.
• One year of experience in invasive cardiovascular medicine preferred.
• RCIS certification required; BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic catheterizations, PCI, pacemaker/ICD implantations, cardiac ablations and EP studies.
• Provide patient care in pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases in the Cath Lab.
• Assist with sheath removal and intra-aortic balloon removal as needed.
• Educate and precept staff members and provide ancillary support across related patient care areas.
