CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) to provide expert support during invasive cardiovascular procedures. You will assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cath lab work, including pacemaker implantation, IABP operation, and EP studies, while ensuring patient safety and precise data recording.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate program in health science or invasive cardiovascular technology acceptable.
• Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required.
• RCIS or RCES or ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography post-primary certification required.
• Surgical Assistant License required.
• Colorado employment staff: State license or Surgical Technologist Certification on hire if applicable.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required on hire or within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians in diagnostic/interventional cardiovascular procedures including catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, IABP operation, and electrophysiology studies.
• Explain procedures to patients and position x-ray equipment for imaging.
• Maintain safe radiologic practices and monitor/hemodynamic data; scrub assistance using aseptic technique.
• Manage blood samples and provide post-procedure instructions.
• Contribute to performance improvement activities and adhere to regulatory standards.
