Job summary

A healthcare organization in Jacksonville is seeking candidates for a role in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Responsibilities include performing technical and clinical duties, maintaining sterility, and using Cath lab equipment. Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED, and must possess or obtain BLS, ACLS, and RCIS certifications. Preferred candidates will have a graduate CVT program certification. Experience in cardiac cath labs or direct patient care is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Cardiovascular Program or 10+ years in the Invasive Cath Lab.
• Proficiency in using Cath lab equipment and good radiographic techniques.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified technical and clinical responsibilities in the cath lab.
• Prepare procedure tray/equipment and maintain sterility.
• Initiate appropriate patient charge and reduce radiation exposure.

Are you a skilled cardiovascular professional who thrives in a fast-paced, procedural environment? We’re looking for a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) to join our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team!

Responsibilities

❤️ What You’ll Do

As a member of the Cath Lab team, you will perform a diverse range of technical and clinical responsibilities, including:

• Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with cardiac Cath Lab procedures while maintaining a high standard of patient care
• Document and report technical data accurately throughout procedures
• Maintain strict sterile technique and sterile fields
• Demonstrate proficiency with Cath Lab equipment and technology
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the cardiovascular care team
• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients

👥 Patient Population

• Adults: 18–64 years
• Geriatric: 65+ years

Qualifications

🎓 Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
• In lieu of a cardiovascular degree/program, 10+ years of Invasive Cath Lab experience may be considered
• BLS – American Heart Association
• ACLS – American Heart Association
• CCI Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required
