Job summary

Apploi is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead an assisted living community in Menifee, CA. You will oversee daily operations, staff leadership, resident care, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and occupancy growth.

This hands-on leader will partner with sales and marketing to support admissions and ensure a positive resident experience. The ideal candidate has senior leadership experience in senior living, deep knowledge of California RCFE regulations, and holds a California RCFE

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Executive Director, Administrator, or senior operations leader in assisted living or senior living.
• Strong knowledge of California assisted living regulations and RCFE requirements.
• Current California RCFE Administrator Certification required.
• Demonstrated success managing staff, budgets, occupancy, and community operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong financial and operational management abilities.
• Ability to balance resident care, regulatory compliance, and business performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assisted living community, ensuring high standards of resident care, safety, and satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and community staff.
• Ensure compliance with California Department of Social Services regulations and all applicable licensing requirements.
• Manage budgets, operating expenses, financial performance, and staffing levels.
• Drive occupancy, resident retention, and overall community growth.
• Partner with sales and marketing teams to support admissions and community outreach.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and healthcare partners.
• Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, service quality, and resident experience.
• Maintain a positive, accountable, and resident-focused community culture.
