Job summary

Patterns Behavioral Services, Inc. is seeking a patient RBT to support teenagers with emotional dysregulation in a clinic-based setting. You will implement ABA programs under BCBA supervision, focusing on communication, coping, and daily living skills.

Experience de-escalating aggression and maintaining calm, respectful communication is essential. Certification training must be completed before procedures. The role offers paid training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with teenagers with developmental disabilities or significant behavioral support needs.
• De-escalation experience with physical aggression and distressed outbursts.
• Maintain calm, respectful communication under pressure.
• Safety-Care or related training; completion before procedures.
• Engage teens through music, hobbies, and age-appropriate activities.
• Willingness to follow BCBA guidance and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized ABA services under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, emotional regulation, coping, and daily living skills.
• Use prevention and de-escalation strategies to support safety and reduce distress.
• Respond to physical aggression per plan using trained procedures.
• Help teens return to activities with dignity and support.
• Collect accurate data and collaborate with families and clinical team.
