Job summary

Pottstown School District is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide intensive behavior support to students within the district. The RBT will work with teachers and staff to implement behavior support plans, and will meet all RBT certification requirements.

This is not primarily instructional support, though some instructional assistance may occur. Applicants must hold a current RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required.
• Act 34/Act 114/Act 151 clearances required.
• TB test and physical exam before starting employment.
• Minimum high school diploma with formal ABA/behavioral support training.
• Completion of RBT training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive behavior support to students in-district.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement behavior plans.
• Ensure compliance with RBT certification requirements and ongoing standards.
• Offer limited instructional support as needed during the day.
• Complete required clearances and health screenings before starting.
