Job summary

Saucon Valley School District seeks a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with behavioral needs under BCBA supervision. You will assist in implementing Behavior Intervention Plans, collect data, and help teach skill acquisition across district sites.

The role involves coaching teachers and paraprofessionals, modeling procedures, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring safety and confidentiality. RBT certification and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ABA and experience evaluating programs based on ABA principles.
• Ability to read and interpret Behavior Intervention Plans and IEPs related to behavior.
• Experience training staff on behavior plans and data collection methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans under supervision.
• Collect data on student behavior and monitor progress.
• Model and train teachers and paras on behavior plans.
• Describe behavior functions and reactive strategies for staff.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Assist BCBA with observations and data collection.
• Assist in reinforcement procedures development.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
