Job Overview
Majestic Care ABA is expanding in the area and seeking dynamic Registered Behavioral Technicians to join our team. We offer a supportive environment for individuals passionate about behavioral health and working with children.
Qualifications
- Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (preferred but not necessary).
- Experience working directly with children in a behavioral setting (preferred but not necessary).
- Completion of a 40-hour RBT training course.
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician Certificate (encouraged; training provided if not registered).
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills with willingness to improve.
- Ability to accept assignments at various locations or clients as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Responsibilities
- Respect and dignity in client treatment.
- Engage clients appropriately during sessions.
- Serve as a role model for clients and caregivers.
- Be reliable and consistent, providing services as scheduled; notify BCBA of any discrepancies or cancellations and attempt to reschedule.
- Maintain professional communication with families and caregivers.
- Work under supervision of a BCBA, providing feedback on client progress.
- Meet weekly with your supervisor to discuss progress, program development, and data analysis.
- Take notes during sessions using Rethink software, especially during the last 15 minutes.
- Obtain parent signatures for in-home sessions.
- Use company-provided devices for data collection and notes.
- Maintain organized toys and materials.
Additional Duties
- Collect and chart ABA and skill data on child development.
- Implement ABA teaching techniques such as reinforcement, shaping, chaining, task analysis, prompting, and fading.
- Follow programming objectives and treatment plans, including Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) when applicable.
