Job summary

Majestic Care ABA is expanding its ABA team in Griffith, Indiana and seeking dynamic Registered Behavioral Technicians. The role supports sessions for children with behavioral needs, with training provided if not currently certified.

Ideal candidates will have basic computer skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities include delivering ABA teaching techniques, data collection, and maintaining communication with families and the supervising BCBA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education or related field preferred but not necessary.
• Completion of 40-hour RBT training course.
• RBT certificate encouraged; training provided if not currently registered.

Responsibilities

• TREAT clients with respect and dignity at all times.
• Appropriately engage clients during sessions and remain engaged with caregivers.
• Act as a role model for clients and families; maintain professional interactions.
• Be reliable, follow scheduled days, and coordinate make-up sessions when needed.
• Maintain clear communication with family/caregivers and supervisor.
• Weekly supervision by BCBA and progress reporting as per treatment plan.
• Take session notes in Central Reach during the last 15 minutes of each session.
• Obtain parent signatures for in-home therapy notes.
• Use Majestic Care ABA devices for data collection; do not use personal devices.
• Maintain weekly reinforcement checklist and inform BCBA of additional needs.
• Keep toys and materials clean and organized; do not supervise other children.
• Data collection and notes should be taken on devices given by Majestic Care ABA, and not personal devices.

Job description

Majestic Care ABA is new to the area and looking to grow our team! We are looking for dynamic Registered Behavioral Technicians to join our team!

• Currently working towards a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education or related field preferred but not necessary.
• Experience working directly with children within a behavioral format preferred but not necessary.
• Completion of 40-hour RBT training course.
• Valid Registered Behavior Technician Certificate encouraged. (We will train if any individual if not currently registered)
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Basic computer skills desired with willingness to advance skill level.
• Accept assignment of location or client as required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Be consistent, reliable, and provide services on agreed scheduled days. In case of cancellation, attempt to makeup the session and notify BCBA of any discrepancies.

• At minimum will be supervised by a BCBA weekly or in accordance to the client’s treatment plan and must be ready to provide feedback to the BCBA on progress
• Will meet with supervisor weekly or in accordance to the client’s treatment plan to discuss progress, program development, and analyzing of data of child.
• Notes should be taken daily in Central Reach during the last 15 minutes of the session.
• Session notes require parent signatures for in-home therapy sessions.
• Data collection and notes should be taken on devices given by Majestic Care ABA, and not personal devices.
• Keep a weekly reinforcement checklist and let BCBA know if anything additional is needed.
