Job summary

Heartland ABA in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA services to children with autism, applying evidence-based interventions and collaborating with our clinical team.

We offer paid training to earn your RBT certification, flexible part-time schedules, and ongoing support from experienced staff. Training precedes service delivery, and continued supervision is provided to ensure success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Candidates must successfully obtain their Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification before providing services. We provide the training and support needed to earn your certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions that promote independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team by directly implementing individualized skill-building programs and care plans.
• Accurately collect and record session data using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive, engaging learning environment for clients while building meaningful connections with their families.
