Job summary

Heartland ABA in Kansas City, MO is seeking motivated individuals to become Registered Behavior Technicians. You will provide one-on-one ABA services to children with autism in homes and community settings, building important skills and promoting independence.

We provide paid training to help eligible candidates earn the RBT certification before you begin services, with ongoing support from an experienced clinical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to learn and a passion for helping children with autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Candidate must obtain RBT certification; training and support are provided to earn it.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients using evidence-based interventions.
• Implement individualized skill-building programs and care plans as part of the clinical team.
• Accurately collect and record session data using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment and build meaningful connections with families.
