Job summary

Fulton County Schools is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician paraprofessional to support students in the Services for Exceptional Children Specialized Behavior Support Program. The role involves implementing behavior plans, collecting data, and assisting with parent training under supervision in the classroom and home settings.

This position requires a high school diploma, passing the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment within 1 year, and eventual attainment of the Georgia PSC Paraprofessional

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must pass the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment with a minimum score of 250 within 1 year from Date of Hire.
• Must be able to obtain Georgia PSC Paraprofessional Certificate within 1 year from Date of Hire; must complete the RBT certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implements specific behavior plans as assigned by the Teacher/Behavior Interventionist.
• Collects data and uses reports to inform behavior interventions.
• Assists with materials preparation and data collection.
• Assists with functional behavioral assessments or skill acquisition plans.
• Supports students with academic instruction and classroom activities.
• Monitors and supports groups of students in learning activities.
• Maintains records and completes required training and documentation.
