Job summary

Constellation Health Services is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction strategies for children with Autism and related needs in home, community, clinic, and school settings.

Under supervision of a BCBA, you will collect data, reinforce positive behaviors, and support parent training while documenting goals and progress with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field from an accredited university.
• One year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management.
• An Associate’s degree (60 credits) with a minimum of two years of direct relevant experience in behavior management.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification is required.
• Strong organization and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements intervention strategies under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provides direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment strategies.
• Records and tracks data from training sessions and progress notes.
• Communicates effectively with administrators, parents and community members in writing and verbally.
• Facilitates transitions among agencies and programs as service provision changes.
• Identifies emergency situations and determines appropriate action to ensure child safety.
