Job summary

PediaPlex in Texas seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement individualized ABA programs under BCBA supervision, working 1:1 with children in clinic, home, or community settings.

You will collect data, follow intervention plans, and participate in team meetings and training, supporting skill generalization and progress.

Active RBT certification or willingness to obtain; high school diploma required; strong communication and reliability; competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with children, especially in special education or behavior therapy, is a plus
• Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children with autism in clinic, home, or community settings
• Implement individualized ABA treatment programs under supervision of a BCBA
• Collect accurate and detailed data on skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
• Follow behavior intervention plans, including reinforcement, prompting, and redirection
• Assist in developing daily session notes and maintain documentation
• Communicate progress, challenges, and observations to supervising BCBAs
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development
• Support generalization of skills across environments through play-based and naturalistic teaching
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in line with BACB guidelines and PediaPlex expectations
