Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic individuals to join as Registered Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills. You will need to be patient and team-oriented.

Comprehensive training is provided, and no prior experience is required. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed, with a competitive

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test within one year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, kneel, bend).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• RBT Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Follow guidance from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Maintain safety and assist with positioning and mobility as needed.
