Job summary

Action Behavior Centers is hiring a Behavior Technician in Mooresville, NC. Work 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday with optional Saturdays. You will run one-on-one ABA therapy for children aged 18 months to 8 years using play-based strategies.

Starting pay varies by education: $17–$23.50/hr for HS/AA, up to $27/hr with a Master’s. We offer growth, full-time benefits, and paid RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification is required or willingness to obtain paid certification within 20 days of hire.
• High school diploma is required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work with children aged 18 months to 8 years.

Responsibilities

• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple session data.
• Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities.
• Stay active and engaged throughout therapy sessions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed.
• Watch a Behavior Technician at work.
