Job summary

The Adult Skills Center (TASC) is hiring a full-time RBT in Canyon Country, CA. The role involves implementing curriculum for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs, focusing on behavior management, employment, independent living, and social skills in community settings.

You will work with 1–2 individuals, plan activities, supervise sessions, and report progress. A RBT requires 40-hour training and CA driver’s license with clean DMV; duties may include remote

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician highly preferred. Completion of 40 hour training and eligible to sit for RBT exam may be considered.
• Experience with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnosis desirable.
• Requires initiative, creativity and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have current California Driver’s license/insurance and clean DMV.

Responsibilities

• Works with 1 or 2 individuals in community settings to build vocational, social, and behavioral skills.
• Ensures participants are present and performing tasks safely during instruction.
• Plans community outings and instructional activities with input from individuals and aides.
• Supervises and supports participants at sites or in the community, including jobs or home settings.
• Collaborates with employers and partners to meet expectations and ensure ISP progress.
