Job summary

The Adult Skills Center (TASC) is hiring a Full Time RBT in Canyon Country, CA. You will implement curricula for individuals with developmental and mental health needs, focusing on behavior management, employment skills and independent living.

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in community settings and homes. Qualified candidates will have RBT experience or be eligible to sit for the exam, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is highly preferred.
• Completion of 40-hour training and eligibility to sit for the RBT exam may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Works with 1 or 2 individuals in community settings to build vocational, social, and behavioral skills.
• Ensures program participants are present and performing tasks safely during instruction.
• Plans community outings and activities with input from individuals and supports instructional aides.
• Exhibits a friendly demeanor and acts as a positive role model for work habits and communication.
• Supervises and supports participants at sites or in the community, including at job sites or homes.
• Collaborates with employers and partners to meet expectations and take corrective action when needed.
• Develops and teaches a curriculum and supports and documents progress in the Individual Service Plan (ISP).
• Collects data daily and uses crisis management strategies when needed.
