Job summary

The Adult Skills Center (TASC) in Lake Balboa, CA is hiring an RBT - Full-time to develop and implement curricula for individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on employment, independent living, and social skills. The BT/RBT will support clients at various community settings and collaborate with partners to ensure outcomes align with Individual Service Plans.

Preferred candidates have BACB-approved 40-hour RBT training, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Must complete BACB approved 40-hour RBT training within six months of hire.
• Experience with persons with developmental disabilities desirable; initiative and independence.
• First Aid/CPR and Core Competency Training and Direct Support Professional Training required.

Responsibilities

• Work with 1–3 individuals to build vocational, social and behavioral skills.
• Ensure participants are present and safe during instructional periods.
• Plan community outings and recreational activities with input from individuals.
• Exhibit friendly demeanor and be a positive role model for work habits.
• Supervise individuals at sites or in the community, including job sites and residences.
• Collaborate with employers and partners to meet expectations.
• Develop and teach curriculum focused on Individual Service Plan (ISP).
• Complete ISP with input from the individual and provide progress reports.
