Job summary

United Care ABA is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join a mission-driven team serving children with autism and their families. We offer flexible scheduling, including full-time and part-time roles, with in-home and center-based options in Long Island and surrounding areas.

You will be supported by experienced BCBA supervisors and have opportunities for professional development toward lead RBT, trainer, or BCBA certification.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification or willingness to complete the certification process before your start date.
• Experience working with children, particularly in educational, behavioral, or developmental settings (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you’re someone who connects easily and takes initiative.
• Detail-oriented and dependable, with the ability to follow treatment plans and collect accurate data.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by clinical supervisors.
• Accurately collect and record data on targeted behaviors and skill acquisition.
• Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA and participate in training and team meetings.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions with clients and families.
