Job summary

United Care ABA in the New York area is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to support children with autism and their families. Roles include one-on-one ABA therapy under supervision and data collection, with flexible hours and locations (in-home or center-based).

We offer competitive pay ($20–$23/hour), opportunities for advancement toward lead RBT, trainer, or BCBA certification, and a supportive team with mentoring and regular check-ins.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification or willingness to complete the certification before your start date.
• Experience working with children in educational, behavioral, or developmental settings is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and initiative.
• Detail-oriented and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as designed by clinical supervisors.
• Accurately collect and record data on targeted behaviors and skill acquisition.
• Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA and participate in training and team meetings.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions with clients and families.
