Job summary

Blue Gems ABA in Nebraska seeks an enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in home, school, or clinic settings.

You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, collect real-time progress data, and collaborate with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure skill generalization and meaningful outcomes. A valid RBT certification is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or eligibility to obtain one.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field a plus.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental delays preferred.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency and generalization of skills.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment during sessions.
