Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism in Virginia. Under a BCBA, you will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. This role involves physical demands and requires a CPR/First Aid/TB clearance, with pay ranging from $19 to $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and track progress.
• Collaborate with BCBA and the team to support each child’s goals.
