Job summary

Golden Steps ABA, LLC is seeking an enthusiastic RBT to join our Maryland-based team providing in-home ABA therapy to children with autism. You will implement individualized treatment plans and collaborate with BCBA supervisors to deliver high-quality care.

The role emphasizes family engagement, reliable transportation to client homes, and strict adherence to BACB guidelines. Prior ABA experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated newcomers with a passion for helping kids grow and learn.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication
• Willing to have a background check.
• Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to the home of clients
• Must possess a High School Degree
• Experience in roles such as nanny, teacher, paraprofessional or similar supportive care positions

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with Autism in home or community settings.
• Implement behavioral intervention and individualized treatment plans for children ages 2–21.
• Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations and parent training as needed.
• Maintain open and direct communication with the BCBA and other team members regarding treatment delivery.
• Receive supervision from your BCBA at a minimum of 10% of services provided.
• Maintain professional boundaries around our child patients and their families as indicated by BACB guidelines.
• Enter data and all trials daily for each pediatric patient in programs targeted.
• Remain available for supervision sessions, phone conferences, and team meetings required by the BCBA.
• Other duties as assigned.
