Job summary

ABS Kids in Holly Springs, NC is seeking entry-level Behavior Technicians/RBTs for part-time shifts. Availability 9:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday, with a $1,000 bonus for current RBTs and paid RBT Certification. Earn $18–$24 per hour and qualify for mileage reimbursement, 401(k) match, and PTO as you help children develop daily living skills through ABA therapy.

No experience? No problem—training is on the job, and prior nanny, teaching, or caregiving experience helps you get started.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children (any setting) or adults with special needs.
• A heart for helping kids
• A calm, steady presence
• Eagerness and energy to play
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
• Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child!
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social, and emotional skills
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly
