ABS Kids in Rochester is seeking entry‑level to seasoned Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for part‑time, shift-based work. You will support children with autism using ABA methods, track progress, and celebrate real-world skills growth. No experience?

We will train you on the job and help you obtain RBT certification with paid support. We provide a $1,000 bonus for current RBTs, paid drive time, mileage reimbursement, and a rich benefits package including 401(k) matching and PTO.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Heart for helping kids and a calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play; reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness to learn our data collection software and use basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social, and emotional skills.
