Job summary

ABS Kids is seeking entry-level Behavior Technicians and experienced RBTs for part-time shifts, with availability 9:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday. Earn $18.00–$24.00 per hour, with increases for RBT certification. We provide paid RBT certification on the job, drive time/mileage reimbursement, and a 401(k) with company match.

No experience? No problem— we'll train you. If you’ve worked as a nanny, teacher, CNA, or in related roles, you’re halfway there.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• A heart for helping kids.
• A calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness - learn our data collection software and use basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child!
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, social, and emotional skills
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly
