Job summary

ABS Kids in Utah is seeking entry-level to experienced Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for part-time shifts. You will support children with autism using ABA techniques, collect data, and help them develop life skills in a home or clinic setting.

No experience? We will train you on the job, with paid RBT certification and generous benefits including mileage reimbursement and PTO. Join a mission to empower kids and families with supportive care.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Heart for helping kids, calm and steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play and engage with children.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness to learn data collection software and basic office tools.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference in the life of a child.
• Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.
• Help the child develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, daily living, potty training, and social/emotional skills.
• Get up and down off floor often, move quickly.
