Job summary

Pops ABA in Gastonia, NC is hiring a Behavior Technician (RBT) to join a dedicated team serving children with autism and developmental disabilities. You will work with a BCBA to implement personalized intervention plans, help clients build life skills, and document progress across home, school, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Follow detailed instructions and document data consistently.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients’ homes, schools, and community settings.

• Patience, empathy and dedication to helping individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement customized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with clients using ABA methods such as DTT and naturalistic teaching.
• Record and document client behavior and progress with provided tools.
• Support clients in building communication, social, self-care and daily living skills.
• Create an encouraging and positive learning environment to promote engagement.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other professionals to ensure consistency across settings.
• Maintain clear communication with families, caregivers, and team members.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with ABA practices.
