Job summary

Diamond Behavior LLC in Gastonia, NC is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver individualized ABA services to children with autism and related needs. You will work under a BCBA supervisor in diverse settings, collecting data and supporting skill development.

The role requires strong communication, dependability, and willingness to complete training and certification requirements. Travel to client locations around Gastonia is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active RBT certification required for applicants seeking the RBT position.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, human services, or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Provide one-on-one therapy in various settings (home, school, clinic, community).
• Collect accurate data on behavior and skill acquisition during sessions.
• Use DTT, NET, prompting, reinforcement, and other ABA methods as trained.
• Support reduction of challenging behaviors through intervention plans.
• Help clients develop communication, social, daily living, and independence skills.
• Communicate progress and concerns with supervisor BCBA regularly.
• Complete session documentation accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and clinical team; maintain confidentiality.
