Job summary

Applied Behavior Center for Autism in Greenwood, Indiana seeks an enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct, one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. You will deliver evidence-based interventions and help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role requires an active RBT certification with BACB. Expect collaborative teamwork with teachers and instructional assistants, regular progress updates to families, and opportunities

• Active RBT certification through the BACB.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions, applying evidence-based interventions to support clients’ development and behavior management.
• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as developed by the BCBA.
• Promote and reinforce adaptive behaviors and discourage maladaptive behaviors.
• Provide direct care, including working on tasks related to communication, socialization, academic skills, and daily living activities.
• Work closely with the BCBA, Teacher's, and instructional assistants to discuss treatment progress and client needs.
• Participate in team meetings, providing input about the clients’ progress, behavior, and development.
• Engage in regular communication with families to provide updates on client progress and reinforce strategies at home.
