Job summary

Blue Gems ABA in Jessup, MD is seeking a dedicated RBT to provide one-to-one ABA therapy to children with autism in home, school, or clinic settings.

As part of a supportive team, you will implement plans designed by a supervising BCBA, collect progress data, and collaborate with families to foster meaningful skill development, while maintaining a safe, engaging environment during sessions.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician certification (or eligibility to obtain certification).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is a plus.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children and families achieve meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based 1:1 ABA therapy to clients.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs designed by the supervising BCBA.
• Collect accurate, real-time data on client progress using clinical software.
• Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, families, and caregivers to support consistency and meaningful skill development.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment for the child during sessions.
