Job summary

GACS seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work at Gilbert Elementary School. The RBT will provide ABA services to students with developmental disabilities under supervision, collect data, and support behavior plans within the classroom.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers and the BCBA, maintaining documentation and consistent attendance to ensure progress and compliance in a school setting.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required.
• Ability to work with individuals with severe disabilities.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of behavior assessment and intervention, or willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with a student or support multiple students as needed.
• Provide ABA services under supervising BCBA.
• Collect data and document progress.
• Implement behavior plans and support classroom instruction.
• Communicate with teachers and team members.
• Maintain regular in-person attendance.
• Maintain RBT documentation to support certification.
