Job summary

Borden Dairy is seeking a detail-oriented Raw Receiver to help ensure the safe receipt of raw milk and other fluids. You will collect QA samples, operate receiving equipment, and transfer products to storage silos following safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading and completing documentation, basic math, and teamwork in a fast-paced dairy plant. You will work to maintain sanitation and support production operations daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of related manufacturing, dairy processing, or receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain State Lab Sample Testing Certification within 30 days.
• Ability to read, understand, and accurately complete receiving documentation and records.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload raw milk and other fluid ingredients from tanker trucks.
• Inspect incoming tanker loads for documentation, temperature, taste, quality, and QA compliance.
• Collect and process required product samples per QA programs and regulations.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain pumps, valves, piping, and related equipment.
• Direct incoming products to storage silos and holding tanks.
• Sanitize receiving equipment, lines, pumps, and related systems.
• Wash and clean tanker trucks, pumps, piping, silos, and equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation.
• Keep receiving area clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Follow all food safety, QA, environmental, and workplace safety policies.
• Support production operations to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
