Job summary

Borden Dairy is seeking a detail-oriented Raw Receiver to manage the unloading of raw milk and ingredients, collect QA samples, and ensure a clean, compliant receiving area. You will operate pumps, document records, and support production to maintain high-quality dairy products.

Experience in dairy or similar manufacturing and the ability to obtain required certifications within 30 days are preferred. This on-site role requires adherence to safety and sanitation standards in a dynamic plant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of related manufacturing, dairy processing, or receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain State Lab Sample Testing Certification and Sample Pulling Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to read, understand, and accurately complete receiving documentation and records.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Commitment to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload raw milk and other fluid ingredients from tanker trucks in accordance with company policies and quality standards.
• Inspect incoming tanker loads for proper documentation, temperature, taste, quality, and compliance with Quality Assurance requirements.
• Collect and process required product samples in accordance with Quality Assurance programs and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain pumps, valves, piping systems, and related receiving equipment.
• Direct incoming products to the appropriate storage silos and holding tanks.
• Sanitize receiving equipment, unloading lines, pumps, and related systems before and after use.
• Wash and clean tanker trucks, pumps, piping, silos, and receiving equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation.
• Ensure the receiving area is maintained in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Follow all food safety, quality assurance, environmental, and workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Support production operations as needed to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
