Job summary

Qnity Electronics’ Semiconductor Technologies – Lithography team seeks a Raw Materials and Scale-Up Scientist/Engineer to lead supplier strategy, drive internal material activities, and expand synthesis and scale‑up capabilities for small molecules and polymers used in lithographic applications. You will connect early development with external suppliers and manufacturing readiness.

The role is onsite in Marlborough, MA and requires strong cross‑functional collaboration across R&D,

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related with 2+ years industrial experience or Master’s with 5+ years industrial experience.
• Proven success leading cross‑functional technical programs from development through supplier qualification and scale‑up.
• Strong knowledge of supplier qualification, material specs, quality systems, change control, process validation, and risk management.
• Experience translating lab-scale chemistry to scalable manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication, project leadership, and ability to drive data‑driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead external raw material supplier strategy for advanced lithographic materials.
• Define development plans, milestones, and decision criteria across quality, cost, and capacity.
• Oversee technology transfer from lab to external suppliers and manufacturing readiness.
• Drive internal scale‑up roadmap for small molecules and polymers, including equipment and workflows.
• Collaborate with Analytical, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to set specs and controls.
• Lead investigations into raw material quality, supplier changes, and process variation.
• Provide clear actions and business recommendations from data analyses.
• Mentor scientists and engineers to strengthen technical rigor and cross‑functional execution.
• Represent Qnity Electronics in technical discussions with suppliers and customers.
