Qualifications

• Ph.D. in synthetic, polymer, or analytical chemistry as required.
• Hands-on experience in synthetic and analytical chemistry with electrochemistry expertise preferred.
• Strong experimental design, problem-solving, and data-analysis skills.
• Knowledge of structure–function relationships for organic materials.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate across global teams and time zones.
• Domestic and international travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundamental understanding and solutions for electronics metallization (electroplating) challenges.
• Characterize materials using advanced analytical techniques and apply data-driven decisions.
• Design and synthesize polymers, monomers, oligomers, and functional materials.
• Develop new material platforms using polymer chemistry and electrochemical principles.
• Lead and support projects from concept through commercialization with scale-up and IP considerations.
• Evaluate literature, patents, and competitors to identify opportunities and guide strategy.
• Collaborate across R&D, Scale-up, Product Management, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Mentor junior scientists and share knowledge with a global team.
