Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Willing to work varying shifts.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.
• Forklift certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of inventory systems (WMS).
• Experience in food manufacturing and knowledge of food safety.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform periodic inventories of raw materials in storage.
• Provide and perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
• Assist in production, sanitation, maintenance and quality activities as directed.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation procedures.
• Provide functional communication with other staff to optimize quality, efficiency, safety.
• Load trucks, live loads and staged loads.
• Operate forklift (expert level).
• Direct ship responsibilities including disposition of hold products and released products.
• Manage WMS and BOL responsibilities; support shipping department.
