Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, Inc. is expanding its Kings Mountain, NC facility and seeking a Raw Material Utility to support packaging operations and production flow. You will handle materials, operate palletizing equipment, enter data, and help ensure efficient, safe production.

Ideal candidates bring food safety knowledge, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, basic data entry skills, and forklift certification readiness on day one. Spanish skills are a plus for team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of food safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and data entry skills for tracking equipment performance.
• Forklift experience and ability to obtain certification on day one.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a fast-paced production setting.
• Spanish language skills preferred but not required to support a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards to maintain a zero-accident culture on the production floor.
• Operate and adjust robotic palletizers and production equipment for new products.
• Track pallet data and complete inventory control logs.
• Move pallets from production to warehouse and stage materials for next shift.
• Verify labeling and barcoding accuracy and address packaging quality issues.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and well-maintained.
