Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring a Raw Receiving Attendant to support safe, efficient poultry processing on our Protein Conversion team. The role handles unloading trailers, monitoring raw materials, and maintaining cleanliness in the receiving area while following safety and food safety standards.

You will operate or learn to operate powered industrial trucks (PITs), work in a fast-paced environment, and contribute to quality and operational excellence with reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High attention to detail and reliability.
• Team player with safety focus and willingness to learn.
• Lift 50 lbs or more and work in warm temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and stage raw materials from trailers and open-top trucks.
• Monitor bins and receiving areas to prevent overflows or contamination.
• Perform daily/weekly sanitation to meet food safety standards.
• Learn and support all duties within Protein Conversion as needed.
• Safely operate or learn to operate powered industrial trucks (PITs).
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment following plant policies.
