Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Bloomington, IN is seeking an Area Business Manager to promote an FDA-approved Rett syndrome treatment for adults and pediatric patients. You will own territory strategy, analyze market insights, and build cross-functional partnerships to drive performance in a rare disease landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (life sciences preferred).
• 3+ years pharmaceutical sales; 1+ year specialty sales (rare diseases emphasis).
• 8+ years pharmaceutical sales; 5+ years specialty sales (rare diseases emphasis).
• Specialty sales experience in rare diseases/CNS or pediatric neurology preferred.
• Advanced selling and relationship-building with KOLs and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with healthcare providers and care teams.
• Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused messages.
• Plan and execute territory business plans; exceed goals.
• Cultivate connections with KOLs and stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support patients and providers.
• Participate in patient advocacy events and conferences.
• Stay current on market trends and products.
• Guide customers on pricing and access with internal teams.
• Travel up to 80%.
