Scorpion Therapeutics in Philadelphia is seeking an accomplished field sales professional to promote the rare conditions portfolio and lead face-to-face discussions with multi-specialty HCPs. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience; rare disease and/or specialty therapeutics preferred.
  • Proven strong performance and clinical acumen.
  • Experience with complex distribution systems and HUB services.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the rare conditions portfolio and lead face-to-face clinical discussions with multi-specialty HCPs.
  • Use product knowledge and selling skills for customized customer interactions in a compliant, ethical manner.
  • Meet or exceed sales forecast performance.
  • Execute territory strategies/tactics and manage assigned budget/resources to meet territory expectations for customers and patients.
  • Maintain knowledge of local market, practice structures, business models, and key influencers.
  • Call on Pediatric Endocrinologists, Genetists, Orthopedics, Endocrinologists, and Pediatricians; navigate referral networks.
  • Demonstrate tenacity in challenging market access scenarios.
  • Use analytical tools to evaluate business needs and allocate appropriate resources.
  • Develop, communicate, and execute business plans to achieve and surpass goals.
  • Collaborate with peers/internal stakeholders to maximize pull-through value within the territory and across the company.
  • Sell on approved indications and efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing.
  • Ensure administrative excellence (work hours, accurate sales call data, customer responses, sample/expense reporting).
  • Partner with the access team to develop strategies that drive access.

  • Promote the rare conditions portfolio and build strong product/disease state knowledge to lead appropriate face-to-face clinical discussions with multi-specialty HCPs.

  • Use product knowledge and selling skills for customized customer interactions in a compliant, ethical manner.

  • Meet or exceed sales forecast performance.

  • Execute territory strategies/tactics and manage assigned budget/resources to meet territory expectations for customers and patients.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven strong performance.

  • Demonstrated high clinical acumen.

  • Resilient and flexible in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.

  • Experience with complex distribution systems and HUB services.

  • Thrive on accountability-based, collaborative teams.

  • Self-starter with hunter mentality, strong judgment, and ethics.

  • Experience in multi-specialty environments; compliant customer engagement.

  • Ability to develop business plans based on customer/patient needs.

  • Experience building new customer relationships and communicating technical information effectively.

  • Ability to meet credentialing requirements as needed by territory/policy.

  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

  • Overnight travel required.
