Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Raptor turbomachinery program in Hawthorne, CA. You will develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes for turbomachinery components and assemblies used in the Raptor engine, balancing innovation with production needs.

You will drive tooling design, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to meet tight production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 1+ years of propulsion or power generation product design, development, fabrication, assembly, or test.

Responsibilities

• Develop the manufacturing and integration processes for turbomachinery components and assemblies in the Raptor engine.
• Implement new manufacturing capabilities and resolve conflicting requirements.
• Optimize existing approaches based on measurement data.
• Develop tooling and processes for balance correction methods.
